Key accountabilities

  • Briefing, writing, building and executing emails.
  • Creating Email / SMS tests to improve open and click rate.
  • Working closely with the head of eCom to define the best offer strategy for different segments.
  • Building and improving existing automated journeys.
  • Working with email designer to produce the best performing, on-brand emails.
  • Implement techniques to increase campaign ROI and reduce churn/improve customer retention through time and segment tailored sequences.
  • Think both analytically as well as apply previous e-commerce and marketing knowledge.
  • Drive activation, engagement and retention to increase customer LTV.
  • Follow best practised and carry out deliverability improvements within spam filtering for various email providers.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • 2-3 years experience in email marketing
  • Strong understanding of email metrics and knowledge on how to improve them
  • Revenue-driven / results-driven personality
  • Ability to execute at scale in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely strong at building emails, that must include:
    - Briefing design team
    - Working with design to produce strong, high performing email
    - Writing copy
    - Segmentation
    - Execution & testing
    - Analysing results
  • Strong interest in email marketing trends
