The Global Corporate Venturing Functional Foods Report, supported by Btomorrow Ventures, has landed and it's a must-read for anyone involved in CVC and/or the functional food and beverage space.

The report focuses on functional foods and innovation, and looks at the 12 food start-ups to watch (including some of our own portfolio companies). It also offers a market overview which shows how the functional food sector is a multi-billion global market with high single-digit expected annual growth rates - and we are thrilled to be the top investor in functional food deals 2017-2023, according to GCVs analysis.

We're also delighted to see our portfolio companies, Blockhead; Moment; Tru and AWAKE Chocolate featured in the report, as well as our very first investment, Unrooted Drinks, which we successfully exited in 2022. The report also features comment from our Investment Director, Lukasz Garbowski, as well as founders/CEOs Danny Lowe (Blockhead) and Aisha Chottani (Moment).
